Mountain Grout Flexible is a versatile injection system. The grout is pumped as a single component making equipment needs minimal. The accelerator B, which is provided with the system, is the component that allows the installer to make repair judgements on the job site. If mixed at the ratio of one pint (accelerator) to five gallons of grout (2 ½% by volume), the reaction profile will be 45 seconds cream time at 72 o F. The experienced installer may choose to add 5% (by volume) accelerator to bring the reaction time down to 15 seconds. Job site conditions normally dictate the need to adjust the profile. Flow of water and/or temperature are typically the conditions that require this flexibility. The experienced contractor views this adjustability as a benefit that may not be available from other polyurethane products.
