HAZARDOUS WASTE
The photos above are of a hazardous waste remediation project at a Super Fund site. Asbestos tailings were buried on the site during the 1940’s. After years of erosion from wind, rain and deer hooves the tailings had surfaced, becoming airborne. EPA officials authorized the use of Mountain Grout Soil Stabilizer to encapsulate the asbestos particles at the surface. The application was most successful - another innovative use of polyurethane materials provided by Green Mountain International.
